Magaisu operates Vorqis and is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding your personal data when you use our website and services at vorqis.com (the “Service”).
This policy also serves as our data protection policy for users in Singapore. By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.
1. Information We Collect
Account Information
When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, optional profile details, and a hashed version of your password. We never store your password in plain text.
Project Data
When you use the Service, we store the floor plans you upload, the 3D views you capture, annotations you create, AI-generated renders, and any client information you enter into your projects. This data is necessary to provide the Service and is tied to your account.
Usage Data
We automatically collect certain information when you use the Service, including your IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, product actions taken, and the date and time of your visit. This helps us improve the Service, diagnose issues, detect abuse, and understand which workflows are working well.
Payment Information
If you subscribe to a paid plan, payment processing is handled by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number or full payment details on our servers. Stripe may collect information as described in their own privacy policy.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, maintain, and improve the Service
- Process your floor plans and generate AI renders
- Manage your account, subscriptions, and credits
- Send you important service-related communications (e.g. password resets, billing confirmations)
- Respond to your support requests
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, or security issues
- Comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your personal information to third parties. We do not use your uploaded floor plans or generated renders to train AI models.
3. AI Processing
When you generate a render, styled floor plan, or AI advisor response, relevant project content may be sent to a third-party AI provider, currently OpenAI. This may include floor-plan images, clean exported floor-plan references, 3D view screenshots, annotations, furniture references, room notes, style preferences, and prompt text needed to produce the requested output.
We do not intentionally send your account name, email address, billing details, or password information to the AI provider. If you include personal information inside floor plans, screenshots, notes, or references, that content may be processed as part of the AI request.
4. Data Sharing
We may share your information only in the following circumstances:
- With Stripe for payment processing
- With AI service providers for render generation (image data only, not personal details)
- With hosting, database, object storage, email, analytics, and error-monitoring providers that help us operate the Service
- When you create a share link, the renders in that project become accessible to anyone with the link
- If required by law, regulation, or legal process
- To protect the rights, safety, or property of Magaisu, Vorqis, our users, or the public
5. Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored using cloud-hosted application, database, and object-storage infrastructure. We implement the following security measures:
- Passwords are hashed using bcrypt with a cost factor of 12
- Session tokens are stored as SHA-256 hashes
- All data is transmitted over HTTPS/TLS encryption
- Password reset tokens are one-time use and expire after 1 hour
- API endpoints are rate-limited to prevent abuse
- Project uploads, renders, and backups are access-controlled and not intended to be public unless you create a share link
No internet service can be guaranteed completely secure, but we work to use reasonable technical and organisational safeguards for the sensitivity of home floor plans, project images, account data, and billing-related records.
6. International Transfers
Vorqis uses service providers that may process or store data outside Singapore. When personal data is transferred internationally, we take reasonable steps to use providers and arrangements intended to protect the data to a standard comparable to the protection required under applicable Singapore data protection law.
7. Cookies
We use a minimal set of cookies strictly necessary to operate the Service. A session cookie (httpOnly, not accessible to JavaScript) keeps you signed in. An auth-status indicator cookie lets the client app know your login state. We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.
8. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Correction — request that we update inaccurate or incomplete data
- Deletion — request that we delete your account and associated data
- Portability — request your data in a structured, machine-readable format
- Objection — object to certain types of processing
- Withdrawal of consent — withdraw consent at any time where processing is based on consent

9. Data Retention
We retain your account data and project data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data and project data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or regulatory reasons. Render version history is automatically limited to the 5 most recent versions per render.
Some information may remain temporarily in encrypted backups, operational logs, billing records, support records, or audit records until those records expire or are no longer needed for security, legal, accounting, or dispute-resolution purposes.
10. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this page periodically. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
